The Hallberg-Rassy 53 is renowned for its blend of seaworthiness, elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship. Designed by Germán Frers, this bluewater cruiser is ideal for long-distance voyages, offering stability, comfort, and ease of handling. With spacious accommodations, including luxurious interiors and well-thought-out storage, the yacht is perfect for extended voyages. The model's sturdy build, including a bulb keel for enhanced performance, ensures excellent sailing capabilities, even in challenging conditions. Features like large fuel and water tanks, along with advanced technical systems, make the Hallberg-Rassy 53 an outstanding choice for global exploration.
The yacht’s elegant design, superb sailing performance, and attention to every detail of construction make it a top choice for those looking for a long-range cruising yacht that combines timeless luxury with cutting-edge performance.
Sturdy, seaworthy centercockpit yacht built by the Swedish quality yard Hallberg-Rassy. The Hallberg-Rassy 53 is a reliable, safe bluewater cruiser for long hauls with a small crew. The deep centre cockpit with fixed windscreen and high coaming provides good protection and wide, unobstructed running decks allow safe movement even in rough conditions. The Hallberg-Rassy 53 was designed by Argentine star-designer Germán Frers and built under supervision of Germanischer Lloyd (GL). Large diesel and fresh water tank capacities ensure a high degree of
autonomy and there is plenty of storage space throughout the vessel in lockers, drawers and storage compartments. The level of craftsmanship in boatbuilding at the traditional Hallberg-Rassy shipyard on the island of Orust in the Swedish Western Archipelago sets standards: the quality of the moulded GRP, the finish of the interior joinery and the standard of the technical installations are beyond question.
"Persistence" has the optional Burma-teak interior. 3 cabin layout with double side berth and additional single berth in aft cabin, U-shaped galley to starboard and two single settees to port in saloon. Both heads compartments with separate shower. Extensive specification including hydraulic furling, electric winches, electric davits, hydraulic gangway, diesel generator, watermaker, heating and air conditioning etc. The yacht is equipped for circumnavigation! New set of NORTH-Sails in 2021, new mainsail 2023
